A CNC-machined lid carries large inlet and outlet ports sized to match the inner diameter of the CCV hose, and the can mounts in line with the PCV system.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBy trapping blow-by before it reaches the intake tract, the catch can defends the intercooler, intake system and VANOS system from oil contamination and helps maintain proper octane levels to reduce potential detonation. The kit ships with two direct-fit hoses that require no modification to the engine cover and one application-specific mounting bracket that places the can in an easily serviceable location.
