aFe Cold Side Charge Pipe 46-20239-B – BMW 335i / 435i / M235i (F30 / F32 / F22)

OVERVIEW

The aFe POWER BladeRunner cold-side charge pipe replaces the restrictive factory cold-side intercooler tube on N55-powered F-chassis BMWs fitted with the automatic transmission. aFe reports maximum gains of +13 horsepower and +13 lbs. x ft. of torque, with the pipe outflowing the factory intercooler tube by 18%.

The tube is constructed of 2-1/2" to 3" mandrel-bent aluminum and powder-coated wrinkle-black for heat and corrosion resistance. Smooth-transition mandrel bends reduce turbulence, which increases horsepower and torque while lowering exhaust gas temperatures, and the high-temp wrinkle-black coating insulates the tube from engine heat. Two 1/8" NPT ports are provided for pressure sensors or water-methanol injection.

OE-style throttle body and intercooler quick connects are machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum so the pipe retains factory connection points, and a heavy-duty 5-ply polyester reinforced silicone hump coupling with premium stainless steel clamps delivers a leak-free seal. The kit works with the OE intercooler and includes all necessary hardware. A laser-cut aluminum aFe POWER logo plate is welded on for an aggressive look.

Additional Parts Required
