Dinan Anti-Roll Bar – BMW 128i / 135i / 325i / 328i / 335i (E82/E90/E92/E93)

OVERVIEW

Almost all street cars leave the factory with anti-roll bars, but they are tuned soft for maximum comfort and to add understeer. An anti-roll bar reduces body roll, and every Dinan bar is built and tuned for a specific BMW chassis. Keeping the car flatter than stock — while still allowing just enough roll — reduces understeer and improves mechanical grip, giving the driver a far more planted, confident feeling in every corner.

This 15.8mm rear anti-roll bar is 118% stiffer than the stock 13mm rear bar and may be added to the Dinan Stage 1 Suspension System for owners building a high-performance suspension in stages. Because stock rear bar diameters vary by model, the increase in stiffness varies with the car it is fitted to — see the breakdown in SPECS below.

• Not compatible with 328xi vehicles
• Dinan warranty: if the vehicle is still covered by the BMW new-car limited warranty, the part is warranted for the remainder of that coverage, limited to 4 years / 50,000 miles; otherwise 2 years, unlimited mileage from the date of original purchase. Wear items, maintenance parts and fluids are excluded.

Additional Parts Required

• Dinan Lightweight Tubular Front Anti-Roll Bar (D120-0530) — Dinan specifies that the matching 28mm front bar be installed alongside this rear bar for proper balance on rear-wheel-drive cars fitted with a limited-slip differential, or with rear tires 20mm or more wider than the fronts.
• Customer-supplied tools and a vehicle lift or jack stands are required.

• Dinan excludes 328xi vehicles, and lists the 335is application with the N54 engine only. The 328i applications exclude xDrive.
