Dinan Performance Spring Set – BMW 435i / 440i xDrive (F32)

OVERVIEW

Dinan suspension systems are known for transforming a car’s stance while maintaining ride quality and improving handling. The Performance Spring Set for the F32 435i/440i xDrive lowers the car 3/4 in at the front and a full inch at the rear for a more aggressive stance and improved suspension geometry, using springs CNC wound from high-tensile chrome silicon wire and shot-peened for stress relief so they last the life of the car. Dinan sells the components separately but strongly recommends this spring set be paired with the matching Ride Quality and Handling Kit to preserve suspension travel and ride quality.

The 38% increase in front spring rate and 50% increase at the rear reduce rear suspension compression under acceleration and front-end dive under braking, giving the car a more controlled feel with noticeably improved grip in high-speed driving and more responsive steering from low speeds all the way to the top of the range.

• Dinan warranty: on a vehicle still covered by the BMW new-car limited warranty (4 years/50,000 miles), Dinan products are warranted for the remaining term of that warranty; otherwise Dinan Performance Products carry a 2-year, unlimited-mileage warranty from the date of original purchase. Wear and maintenance items — friction materials, filters, fluids, spark plugs, drive belts and bulbs — are excluded.

Additional Parts Required

• Dinan Supplemental Ride Quality and Handling Kit (Dinan part D193-3201 for F32 cars). Dinan specifies this kit alongside the spring set to achieve the advertised ride height and ride quality; without it Dinan will not warrant handling or ride-quality complaints. It is not currently a listed product at Speed Logic — contact us and we will source it with your springs.
• Four-wheel alignment — Speed Logic recommends a full alignment after installation and after any later ride-height change.
• Installer-supplied tools: spring compressor, torque wrench and the standard BMW suspension service tools.

Notes

• NOTE: Dinan Performance Spring sets should be purchased and installed with the corresponding Ride Quality and Handling Kit to achieve the advertised ride height, performance and ride quality. While not explicitly required, if the matching component is not purchased and installed you will get less than favorable results in the form of poor ride quality and improper handling traits. While Dinan will maintain a full warranty on product defects, any claims against the car’s improper handling or ride quality traits due to not purchasing the corresponding handling kit will not be warranted.
• Dinan does not publish model years for D100-0920 in a form Speed Logic could confirm, so the Years column is left blank rather than estimated. This is an xDrive-only spring set and Dinan states it does not fit RWD or convertible variants. Please confirm fitment with Speed Logic before ordering.
