OVERVIEW
The Burger Motorsports JB4 brings serious power to the F9x S63 platform without ever flashing the DME. It piggybacks the engine's own sensor network over CANbus, so the factory ECU stays untouched — which is what makes it compatible with locked ECUs and BMW's over-the-air updates, and what lets you pull it back off without a trace.
Installation is plug-and-play at the TMAP sensors and the OBDII port, with no wire splicing. Because the JB4 is not VIN-locked, it can be removed and resold or moved to the next car. Map switching, live gauges, datalogging and fault code read/clear are handled through the free JB4PRO smartphone app over the Bluetooth adapter built into the unit.

TECH RESOURCES
Required Extras
- 91 octane or higher pump fuel — required for the advertised gains. Race gas or an E85 blend is required for the highest maps.
- JB4PRO mobile app (free, iOS and Android) — used for map switching, gauges, logging and fault codes. The Bluetooth adapter is built into the unit, so no separate connect kit is needed.
- No additional hardware. Burger Motorsports specifies a plug-and-play install at the TMAP sensors and OBDII port with no wire splicing.
