OVERVIEW
The Moton 1-Way Series is built for the driver who runs club events and track days but still wants a car that behaves on the road. Rebound damping and ride height are both adjustable, so grip can be dialed in for the circuit and then softened back off for the drive home.
Moton uses an elevated top guide with a helper piston to reduce friction inside the damper. Less friction means less internal wear and more stable, consistent damping over a session. The dampers are a high-pressure monotube design with a large piston: monotube construction avoids aeration and foaming of the damper oil, giving more responsive valving, and the high gas pressure provides additional resistance as conditions load the damper.
This is a non-inverted set with a coilover design front and rear, prioritizing adjustability and predictable handling. Where applicable it includes camber-adjustable front top mounts and solid rear top mounts; the camber adjustment gives extra wheel adjustment and lets front-end grip be transformed through geometry. Baseline damper settings and spring rates come from Moton's own development and testing program, and individual preference is then fine-tuned on the rebound knob or through ride height. Springs are included.

TECH RESOURCES
Additional Parts Required
- A four-wheel alignment after installation is mandatory. Fitting coilovers changes camber, caster and toe; the car must be aligned before it is driven.
- Professional installation is required. These are motorsport dampers and should be fitted by a shop experienced with race suspension.
- Corner weighting is strongly recommended for any car used on track, and should be carried out at the same time as the alignment.
- Spring rate changes, revalving and damper rebuilds are available through Moton Suspension and its service network.
Installation
- Moton supplies setup and installation documentation with each built-to-order kit. No public installation PDF is published for this part number — contact Speed Logic if you need the setup sheet before your kit ships.
Notes
- Moton coilovers are built to order. Contact Speed Logic for current lead time and for spring rate or valving changes before the kit is built.
