Active Autowerke GESI Ultra High Flow Cats Upgrade – BMW M3 (E9x)

OVERVIEW

Active Autowerke's GESI G-Sport cats upgrade is a set of connecting pipes for their Signature Track Pipe with X-Pipe on the BMW E9X M3, for the owner who already runs that pipe and wants to clear the check engine light without resorting to a tune while still meeting emissions requirements as specified by the EPA. Fitting most aftermarket exhaust systems and mufflers, it bolts on with no cutting, welding or modification and improves on the factory design through the X-pipe's scavenging effect, at 25 lbs against the factory system's 40 lbs. GESI's proprietary precious-metal loading technology greatly reduces emissions and eliminates most check engine lights, so these high-flow converters outperform stock units.

Please Note: These catalytic converters are not legal for use on vehicles registered in the state of California as a result of California Vehicle Code Section 27156 and 38391.

NOTE: Federal law prohibits the tampering of an emissions control device. Mobile Source Enforcement Memorandum 1A, allows for aftermarket parts to be used in the repair or replacement of emissions control systems, provided the emissions aren't adversely affected. There is no mention or reference to cell density or converter volume dimension. The GESI catalytic converter will produce emissions that will meet the standards set by the EPA, not CARB.
