What Is ECUtek?

ECUtek is the ideal tuning platform for those seeking precision, performance, and reliability. With its advanced tuning capabilities, ECUtek offers custom maps tailored to your vehicle's specific needs, delivering optimal performance gains. Its user-friendly interface via ECU Connect allows for real-time adjustments, while features like self-adjusting flex-fuel, mode switching, and anti-lag provide unmatched control over your car's behavior. Speed Logic installs and configures your ECUtek setup in-house — every install is by appointment, on the car, with payment collected at the shop. An ECUtek license alone does not include a base tune: a compatible map is required for functionality, and we'll go over map options with you when you book.

RaceROM Features

Four-Way Mode Switching — switch between four modes (Track, Fast Road, E85, Economy) via ECU Connect. Customize boost pressure and torque in each mode using the RaceROM Boost controller.
One-Touch Anti-Lag / Rolling Launch — activate Rolling Launch with a button press. Hold the cruise control set button to build boost, adjust speed, then release to launch. Includes time, temperature, and re-arm settings for reliability.
RaceROM Burble — adjust burble intensity from soft to hard, or disable it completely in Sport mode for stealth.
Self-Adjusting FlexFuel — RaceROM FlexFuel automatically adjusts your tune based on the ethanol content in your tank. Install a CANbus-enabled sensor and it manages optimal performance with built-in fail-safes. Check your ethanol blend via ECU Connect or the Sports Display.
Sequential Port Injection & Additional CANbus I/O — supported with a compatible external controller.
Sports Display HiJack — the Sports Display is adjusted to reflect current power levels.
Valet Mode — limit the car's power, speed, and range for security or when handing it over to someone else, while still allowing access to all four Map Switch modes for setup options.

Need an ECU Unlock First?

Some late-model ECUs get locked out of tuning after a dealer software update, a warranty/recall visit, or an over-the-air update — this can affect certain Toyota Supra A90/A91, BMW S55, and BMW B58 ECUs. If your ECU is affected, it needs to be bench-unlocked before an ECUtek tune can be installed. Ask us about ECU Unlock eligibility and the process when you book your appointment — we'll check whether your car needs this.

Highly Recommend: Pair It With an xHP Transmission Tune

If your car has a ZF automatic transmission, we highly recommend pairing your ECUtek engine tune with an xHP Transmission Tune. xHP recalibrates the transmission control unit (TCU) to match your car's new power and torque output — firmer, faster shifts and better reliability under the added load from your ECUtek tune. Ask us about adding xHP when you book your appointment.
