Active Autowerke Mid Pipe – BMW M3 / M4 (F80 / F82)

OVERVIEW

Active Autowerke has been an industry leader in engineering high quality BMW performance products for over 40 years, and this F80 M3 and F82 M4 mid pipe is characteristic of their refined, power-focused approach. It was designed to eliminate the highly restrictive OEM mid pipe and create optimal exhaust flow, and to address the thin, buzzy weed-eater note of the factory system — considerable research identified the synchronisation of the turbos as the main factor, and a single mid pipe eliminates much of it. The pipe is oval so the large 3.5" section needed for optimum performance fits without ground clearance problems, with an exact fit on both chassis.
