aFe Momentum GT Stage-2 Cold Air Intake 54-76306 – BMW 135i / 335i (N54)

OVERVIEW

The aFe POWER Momentum GT Stage-2 intake system replaces the factory airbox on the N54 with a fully sealed, one-piece roto-molded housing and a CAD-designed roto-molded intake tube. aFe reports maximum gains of +16 horsepower and +30 lbs. x ft. of torque, with the system outflowing the factory intake by 18%.

The custom CAD-designed housing is made from heat-soak-resistant black cross-linked polyethylene and eliminates the need for multiple components, ensuring the coolest available intake charge. An auxiliary air scoop feeds the box, and a urethane plug is included to block the scoop in cold-weather applications. A large clear sight window lets you inspect the filter without removing the airbox.

The dyno-tuned roto-molded intake tube uses 6061-T6 aluminum ends that maximize the inside diameter through both outlets for the greatest possible flow, and the aluminum inserts add strength and durability. The system is built around the largest filter that will fit — an 8" tall cone with a massive oval flange — available with either Pro 5R oiled media or Pro DRY S oil-free media. A patent-pending filter-to-housing interface and a premium stainless steel T-bolt clamp keep the assembly secure, and no cutting or drilling of OEM parts is required.
