aFe Magnum FORCE Stage-2 Pro 5R Cold Air Intake 54-12922-B – BMW 230i / 330i / 430i (B48)

OVERVIEW

The aFe Power Magnum FORCE Stage-2 cold air intake replaces the factory airbox on the B46 and B48 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder with a dyno-tuned system rated at 350 CFM at 7" H₂O. aFe records maximum gains of +12 horsepower and +12 lbs. x ft. of torque, outflowing the factory intake by up to 14%.

A 7" tall conical 360-degree radial flow Pro 5R air filter sits under a lightweight vacuum-formed plastic cover that creates a stealthy under-hood look and reduces intake noise without sacrificing power. The cover carries an auxiliary air inlet, and a urethane plug is included if you prefer to block that inlet off. The CAD-designed roto-molded intake tube is dyno-tuned for maximum power while maintaining a precise fit.

All clamps, couplings and hardware are supplied. This is a direct bolt-on kit that requires no cutting or drilling of factory parts.

Additional Parts Required

• None. aFe specifies no additional hardware for this intake — the coupling, clamps, screws and block-off plug are all supplied in the box.
• No tune is required and the factory mass air flow sensor is reused.
• Service item (not required): replacement Pro 5R oiled filter, aFe 24-90096. The oil-free Pro DRY S filter for this housing is aFe 21-90096.
