aFe Magnum FORCE Stage-2 Carbon Fiber Intake – BMW M3 (E90 / E92 / E93)

OVERVIEW

The aFe Power Magnum FORCE Stage-2 intake system replaces the restrictive factory intake tract on the E9X M3 with a carbon fiber tube and a large, high-flow performance air filter. aFe rates the kit at up to +12 horsepower and +9 lbs. x ft. of torque over the stock intake.

Rather than opening the filter to the engine bay, this system reuses the factory air box to seal the tube and filter away from under-hood heat, so the filter draws cool outside air while intake velocity and volume both increase. The uniquely shaped filter is sized to fill that box and flows 41% more air than the stock element.

The intake tube is high-gloss clear-coated 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber, shaped to keep factory fit and function while cutting weight, insulating against engine heat and dressing up the engine bay. A billet aluminum smog pump adapter, clamps, coupling and hardware are supplied, and the kit bolts on with no cutting or drilling of OEM parts.
