aFe Momentum GT Cold Air Intake w/ Pro 5R Filters – BMW M3 / M4 (G80/G82/G83)

OVERVIEW

The aFe Momentum GT is a dual sealed cold air intake system for the S58-powered BMW M3 and M4. It replaces both factory airboxes with smooth one-piece sealed housings molded from heat-resistant XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer, each carrying a 6-1/2" tall 360-degree radial flow Pro 5R air filter on a 3-1/2" round flange. Large, clear sight windows let you inspect the filters without disassembling the system.

Each side uses a high-quality, computer-designed and dyno-tuned intake tube built from XLPE and high-performance silicone for heat-soak resistance and durability. aFe's patent-pending filter-to-housing interface uses half the number of parts of a traditional cold air intake, and the system is designed around the factory mounting locations for a hassle-free installation. Stainless-steel worm clamps and a premium bellows coupling are included, and the intake fits models equipped with the factory strut brace with no modification required.

Additional Parts Required

• None. aFe specifies no additional hardware and no tune for this intake — it uses factory mounting locations and all clamps, plugs and the coupling are supplied.
• Customer-supplied tools: standard metric hand tools and a nut driver or flat-blade screwdriver for the clamps.
• Service items (not required at install): replacement Pro 5R oiled filters 24-91097; Pro DRY S oil-free alternative 21-91097.
