aFe Momentum Pro 5R Intake 54-82212 – BMW 320i / 328i / 428i (F30 / F32)

OVERVIEW

The aFe Power Momentum sealed intake system produces 10 horsepower and 14 lbs. x ft. of torque and outflows the factory intake by 42% on the N20 turbocharged four-cylinder. The air filter is enclosed in a one-piece, patent-pending black roto-molded airbox that keeps warm engine air out for maximum performance, and the airbox mounts in the factory locations for a hassle-free installation.

The sealed airbox design draws on the factory ram air scoop for maximum torque in all weather conditions, and horizontal louvers moulded into the airbox increase the volume of cold air reaching the filter. The intake tube is designed to maximize air velocity and was dyno tested and flowed with aFe's engineering tools for performance, mileage and throttle response.

The kit comes complete with all necessary hardware.

Additional Parts Required

• None. aFe specifies no additional hardware for this intake — the clamp, screws, cable ties and Torx bit are all supplied in the box.
• No tune is required and no cutting or drilling of factory parts is needed.
• Installer-supplied tools: Phillips screwdriver and an 8 mm nut driver.
• Service item (not required): replacement Pro 5R oiled filter, aFe 24-91056. The oil-free Pro DRY S filter for this housing is aFe 21-91056.

• This intake system is not CARB exempt at this time and is not legal for sale in California or use on vehicles registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Does not fit models equipped with the L4-2.0L (t) N26 engine. 420i and 420i Gran Coupe are non-US market vehicles. Confirm fitment with Speed Logic if your car is not listed exactly as shown.
