aFe Momentum Pro 5R Stage 2 Intake 54-76301 – BMW M5 (F10)

OVERVIEW

aFe Power's Momentum Stage 2 Si sealed intake system is built for the S63 twin-turbo 4.4L V8 in the F10 M5 and its M6 siblings. On aFe's dyno the system produced up to 28 horsepower and 31 lbs. x ft. of torque, and it outflows the factory intake by 29%.

The kit uses twin black roto-molded sealed airboxes that keep warm engine air out of the intake tract while cleaning up the look of the engine bay. Each housing uses aFe's patent-pending filter-to-housing interface, which allows the largest practical filter to be fitted while keeping installation simple. Air is drawn from the factory air inlet plus a secondary auxiliary air port.

This version is supplied with dual 6-1/2" tall conical Pro 5R filters, using five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and 100% polyurethane construction for long life and repeated cleaning cycles. CAD-designed intake tubes are engineered to release all available horsepower while fitting precisely, and reinforced silicone couplings join the tubes to the turbo inlet adapters. The kit comes complete with all necessary hardware.
