aFe BladeRunner GT Intercooler 46-20271 – BMW M2 (F87)

OVERVIEW

The aFe POWER BladeRunner GT Series intercooler is a direct replacement for the factory unit on the BMW M2 (F87) with the N55 turbocharged inline-six. It uses a 5" bar and plate core that is 25% larger than the factory tube and fin core, and in aFe testing it showed flow gains of up to 15% while lowering manifold intake air temperature.

The end tanks are built from 3/16" thick aluminum plate and carry two 1/8" NPT ports for pressure sensors or water-methanol injection. The complete assembly is 100% TIG-welded inside and out by certified craftsmen and is pressure rated to 200 psi. Billet aluminum 2-1/2" inlet and outlet fittings retain the factory-style quick connections for the intercooler tubes, and the kit bolts to the factory mounting locations, so no cutting or modification is required.
