OVERVIEW
For the largest possible performance gain from an intake on the S65 V8, the aFe POWER Magnum FORCE Stage-2 system replaces the factory intake tract with a dyno-tuned aFe tube and an open-element Pro 5R air filter. aFe records maximum gains of +12 horsepower and +9 lbs. x ft. of torque, with the system out-flowing the factory intake by 41%.
The design avoids the floating tubes used by lesser kits: a built-in ram scoop forces cold air into the filter for greater efficiency and real-world gains, and raised clamp stops on the aFe tube provide a more secure seal that eliminates the slippage common to flat, straight tubes. A specially developed 3-angle velocity stack adapter dramatically increases airflow from the filter into the intake tube.
The Pro 5R element is a washable and reusable conical filter using progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media for maximum airflow, and aFe uses only top-quality hardware such as stainless steel button head bolts and brass inserts. The system carries CARB Executive Order D-550-38, making it 50-state legal on the applications listed below.

Additional Parts Required
