aFe Stage 2 Pro Dry S Intake 51-82082-1 – BMW 535i (F10, N55)

OVERVIEW

The aFe POWER Magnum FORCE Stage-2 Si sealed intake system replaces the factory airbox on the N55 with a custom CAD-designed, roto-molded one-piece housing made from heat-soak resistant black cross-linked polyethylene. Eliminating the multi-piece factory assembly ensures the coolest intake charge available, and an auxiliary air scoop feeds the housing. A urethane plug is included if you prefer to seal the scoop completely. aFe records maximum gains of +32 horsepower and +60 lbs. x ft. of torque.

Airflow passes through a high quality plastic CAD-designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube engineered for maximum power while maintaining a perfect fit, with mounting tabs molded in for easy installation.

This version is supplied with the oil-free Pro DRY S element: a 6-1/2 inch tall oval 360-degree radial flow filter using three layers of progressively finer porosity synthetic media, chosen for maximum convenience since it is washable, reusable and never needs re-oiling. The filter-to-housing interface allows the largest possible element, increasing available air volume while simplifying assembly. Premium stainless steel hardware and clamps secure the filter and tube, and the system is designed with fewer parts for a quick, simple installation with no cutting or drilling of OEM parts.

Additional Parts Required

• None. aFe POWER specifies no additional hardware for this intake system - it is a complete bolt-on kit that reuses the factory mass air sensor and mounting points.
• Installer-supplied tools: metric socket and wrench set, hex/Allen key set, Torx driver set and a flat-blade screwdriver.
• Optional service item: a dry-media filter cleaning kit for periodic maintenance. Pro DRY S filters are cleaned dry and must never be oiled.
