AMS Performance BMW G8X M2/M3/M4 S58 Heat Exchanger

OVERVIEW

AMS Performance's drop-in heat exchanger for the BMW G8X S58 platform is the largest available on the market for this chassis, built around a dual-pass design with a 35% larger core than the OEM unit for maximum cooling capacity. Billet 6061-T6 aluminum end tanks and AMS-spec fin height/density are CAD-designed and CNC-machined for a direct bolt-on fit that requires no cutting or drilling.

In AMS's own back-to-back testing, the G8X heat exchanger recorded a peak coolant outlet temperature of 112.8°F versus 116.4°F on the OEM unit and 120.2°F on a leading aftermarket competitor — a roughly 16°F reduction in coolant outlet temps over stock, with double the fluid capacity of the OEM system for added thermal stability.
