OVERVIEW

The AST 5300 Comp Series is a three-way adjustable coilover — independent high/low-speed compression plus rebound — for the F22 BMW M235i (N55). Height-adjustable and rebuildable for serious street and track use.

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment — mandatory. Camber, caster and toe change with ride height; book a full alignment (and corner-balance for track use) immediately after installation.
• Cars with optional Adaptive M suspension: the factory adaptive damper connections must be electronically cancelled to prevent damper fault warnings.

Notes

• RWD only — the M235i xDrive uses a different AST kit.
• Count the bolts on each front strut tower before ordering. This kit is for 5-bolt towers; cars with 3-bolt towers need AST's "/3D" version — confirm fitment with Speed Logic before ordering.
