AWE Tuning S-FLO Carbon Fiber Intake – BMW 228i / 320i / 328i / 428i (F22 / F30 / F32)

OVERVIEW

The AWE S-FLO Carbon Intake for the F22 / F3X four-cylinder cars (228i, 320i, 328i, 428i) is a fully enclosed carbon fiber airbox made from UV-stabilized 2x2 twill carbon to resist yellowing from underhood heat. It mounts in the stock location, mates to the factory air inlet pipes, and pairs with a carbon turbo inlet pipe that removes the factory silencer.

The included S-FLO filter unlocks max gains of 16 hp and 17 lb-ft at the crank, with a more aggressive intake note and a distinctive turbo spool sound, all while keeping the car check engine light free. AWE S-FLO intakes are for racing use only.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• None for N20 engines. AWE specifies no additional parts and no tune.
• N26 (SULEV) engines: the supplied barbed fitting must be installed by drilling and tapping; a #27 drill bit and 1/8" pipe tap are required, installer-supplied.
• Tools: T-20 Torx, flat screwdriver, 3mm hex and razor blade.
