Black Market Race B58 PCV Block Off Pins

OVERVIEW

Any Gen 2 B58 running an upgraded turbo should block off the PCV ports that run from the cylinder head to the valve cover. These factory ports are part of the PCV system and vent boost pressure through the valve cover to manage the PCV diaphragm — once boost climbs, that pressure can damage the diaphragm and cause excessive oil consumption, or split the valve cover outright.

Black Market Race's PCV block off pins seal these ports so pressure can no longer reach the valve cover. An alignment tool is included that bolts to the head and holds the pins perfectly collinear with the ports, so there is no chance of misdrilling and install stays straightforward.

• Required – vent-to-atmosphere catch can. Once these ports are blocked, crankcase pressure must be relieved through a catch can vented to atmosphere.
