Bilstein B12 Pro Kit – BMW 128i / 135i (E82 / E88)

OVERVIEW

The BILSTEIN B12 (Pro-Kit) for the BMW 1 Series is for drivers wanting handling, comfort and satisfaction while seeking out more curves to conquer. It combines BILSTEIN’s monotube gas pressure dampers with EIBACH Pro-Kit application-specific progressive-rate performance springs to provide increased comfort and performance.

With BILSTEIN dampers for improved lateral stability and EIBACH’s road-tested sport springs, the kit is fine-tuned to offer precise response and predictable control. BILSTEIN calls the matched damper-and-spring approach its Professional Cornering System (PCS).

The B12 (Pro-Kit) is the product of two companies at the top of their industries: the shock absorber experts at BILSTEIN and the spring professionals at EIBACH.

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment after installation — camber and toe change when ride height changes.
• Professional installation. BILSTEIN states that shock absorber installation requires special tools and expert knowledge and should be performed by a qualified suspension specialist, preferably on a chassis hoist.
• Installer-supplied tools: spring compressor and torque wrench.
