OVERVIEW

If you are looking for the perfect combination of sport dynamics, superior appearance and high performance for a 2008–2013 3 Series Convertible, the BILSTEIN B12 (Pro-Kit) is the right track. This matched kit is specifically put together for the E93 3 Series Convertible, including the 328i Convertible and 335i Convertible.

The B12 (Pro-Kit) is the product of two companies at the top of their industries: the shock absorber experts at BILSTEIN and the spring professionals at EIBACH. BILSTEIN dampers use monotube gas pressure technology and are made in Germany.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment. A full four-wheel alignment is required after installation — camber, caster and toe all change when ride height changes.
• Professional installation. BILSTEIN requires that the work be carried out by a qualified technician on a chassis hoist with proper spring-compression equipment; improper installation risks serious injury.
• Check EDC. Confirm whether your car is equipped with Electronic Damping Control before ordering — EDC cars require different mounting components and BILSTEIN lists separate part numbers for them.
• Not for cars with the M Sport Suspension option. While this kit will physically fit the 335is Convertible and E93 convertibles with the M Sport Package, we have found it will not lower those cars. If you are seeking a lowered stance on a 335is or on M Sport Suspension, contact Speed Logic for better options.
• Installer-supplied: chassis hoist or jack stands, spring compressor, and a torque wrench — do not use impact tools on suspension fasteners.

Notes

• Not for cars with the M Sport Suspension option. BILSTEIN lists this kit for the BMW 328i 2007–2013, 335i 2007–2013 and 335is 2011–2013. BILSTEIN publishes generic mounting instructions for this kit rather than a vehicle-specific guide; use them alongside the BMW factory repair procedure for your chassis.
