OVERVIEW

This BILSTEIN B6 Performance shock package is a complete front-and-rear set for the BMW 1 Series (E82 Coupe / E88 Convertible) 128i, 135i and 135is. BILSTEIN B6 Performance dampers are a performance upgrade to OE dampers, designed to be paired with the OE factory springs, with application-specific valve settings for improved ride and handling control.

BILSTEIN’s monotube gas-pressure design dissipates heat effectively and resists fade, keeping damping consistent when the shocks are working hard.

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment recommended after replacing the front struts.
• Professional installation. BILSTEIN states that shock absorber installation requires special tools and expert knowledge and should be performed by a qualified suspension specialist, preferably on a chassis hoist.
• Installer-supplied tools: spring compressor and torque wrench; reuse the OE springs and mounts.
