OVERVIEW
The Burger Motorsports Billet Intake is a simple, plug-and-play power and sound upgrade for the Gen 2 B58 G20 M340i and G42 M240i xDrive. Burger Motorsports rates it at up to 8+ wheel horsepower, with sharper throttle response, quicker turbo spool and much louder induction and turbo sound.
The MAF housing and bracket are CNC machined from billet aluminum and anodized black. A reusable BMS high-flow inverted cone filter replaces the factory element. The OEM cold air intake tube, airbox bottom and factory heat shield all stay in place, so cold air ducting and heat isolation still work as designed. Installation takes only minutes and is fully reversible.

Additional Parts Required
- None. The intake reuses the OEM cold air duct, airbox bottom and heat shield.
- BMS silicone intake pipe hose upgrade (Gen 2 B58 G-chassis), optional. It removes the factory resonator and accordion hose for smoother airflow to the turbo. Contact Speed Logic for availability.
- Filter cleaning and oil kit, optional. Used for the oiled filter versions. Contact Speed Logic for availability.
- Tools: basic hand tools and hex keys for the M4 and M5 socket head screws.
