OVERVIEW

The BMS Competition intake is a complete airbox upgrade for G-chassis four-cylinder BMWs. A new high-flow lower airbox and a lid with a clear inspection window house an oversized inverted cone filter, while a smooth 3.5" intake tube takes the place of the factory accordion hose and resonator to cut turbulence ahead of the turbo.

The factory cold air duct and inlet are retained, so the filter is still fed outside air. Expect a noticeable increase in airflow, quicker throttle response and a louder induction note. Select the model-year version that matches your car: 2025 and later models need a vacuum connection on the lower airbox, and the parts for it come with that option.

Additional Parts Required

• Required for 2025 and later models: drill a 3/8" hole in the lower airbox for the vacuum fitting (fitting, push connector, 3/8" line and O-ring are included with the 2025 and Later option)
