OVERVIEW
The BMS Elite intake for the S58-powered X3 M and X4 M replaces the restrictive top cover of the factory airbox with twin 3.5" inverted cone filters that have velocity stacks built in. The factory airbox base and cold air ducting stay in place, so the filters keep drawing cool outside air.
Expect quicker throttle response, faster turbo spool and a more aggressive induction note, with the largest gains showing up on cars running elevated boost. Choose oiled filters in red or blue, or a dry filter that is serviced with compressed air. Installation is straightforward and can be undone at any time.
