OVERVIEW

The S55 engine in the F8x M2 Competition, M3 and M4 ships with plastic boost tubes that are a known weak point. Under higher boost they can crack at the flange, split along the body or blow off the intercooler couplers, leaving the car down on power or stranded. This BMS kit replaces them with heavy-duty aluminum pipes: choose the hot-side pipes and cold-side J-pipe combo, or either section on its own.

Each pipe uses CNC-machined flanges with a raised lip so it locks into place much like the factory part, and the wrinkle black powder coat blends into the engine bay. Pre-capped 1/8" NPT bungs give you ready ports for a boost gauge or water/methanol nozzle later on. The kit is a bolt-in upgrade that comes with the couplers, clamps and hardware needed for installation, making it a sensible first reliability mod for tuned S55 cars.
