CSF F-Chassis Performance Radiator – BMW N55

OVERVIEW

CSF's high-performance all-aluminum radiator for the F-Chassis BMW replaces the factory plastic-tank unit with a fully welded aluminum assembly built around a 2-row 42mm dual core and CSF's exclusive B-Tube technology. An ultra-efficient 6.5mm multi-louvered fin maximizes surface area contact, so more heat leaves the coolant on every pass through the core.

CNC-machined quick-connect inlet and outlet connections, CNC-machined brackets and fittings and an all-aluminum race-style drain plug give it OEM-grade fit with motorsport-grade durability. It is a drop-in replacement that accepts all attaching OEM components including the quick-connect hoses, AC condenser, mounting brackets and fan shroud.

Two part numbers cover this platform and they are not interchangeable: CSF #7080 is the manual-transmission radiator and CSF #7081 is the automatic-transmission radiator. Choose the variant that matches your car's transmission.

Additional Parts Required

• None. CSF Radiators specifies no additional hardware for this part — it is a direct-fit replacement that reuses the OEM hoses, brackets, condenser and fan shroud.
• Order the correct variant for your transmission: CSF #7080 for manual-transmission cars, CSF #7081 for automatic-transmission cars.
• Installer-supplied: fresh BMW-spec coolant and distilled water to refill the system, plus a drain pan.

Installation

• CSF does not publish a downloadable installation PDF for this radiator. Printed installation instructions are packed in the box.
• Installation follows the factory radiator replacement procedure — drain, disconnect the quick-connect hoses, transfer the fan shroud and condenser, mount the CSF unit on the OEM points, refill and bleed.
• Bleed the cooling system completely after filling before the car is driven.
