CSF High-Performance Auxiliary Radiator – BMW M2 (F87) / 340i/440i (F3x) / M240i (F2x)

OVERVIEW

An industry-leading reputation and overwhelming success with BMW cooling has made CSF the number one cooling choice for the F87 M2 (N55), F3X 340i/440i and F2X M240i. The auxiliary radiators are a natural addition to the popular F87 and F3X/F2X cooling suites.

Like the rest of the cooling system on these cars, the factory auxiliary radiators do a reasonable job in stock form. Once meaningful power is added and the car is driven hard, those factory units start to show their limits. CSF's replacement carries a 2-row 42mm high-performance core built on the company's exclusive B-Tube technology, with new "Track-Spec" 5mm ultra-efficient multi-louvered fins, increased tank volume and a larger core than OEM.

Construction is 100% all-aluminum TIG-welded, with OEM-style quick-connect inlet and outlet fittings and a detachable rock guard. Every unit is individually leak and pressure tested. The satin black finish keeps the OEM+ look under the bumper, and the radiator is a true drop-in requiring no modifications.

Additional Parts Required

• None. CSF Radiators specifies no additional hardware for this part — it is a direct-fit replacement using the OEM mounting points and quick-connect fittings.
• Quantity: this radiator is sold individually and most applications use two. The F87 M2 (N55) uses a single unit, left side only.
• Installer-supplied: fresh BMW-spec coolant and distilled water to refill and bleed the system, plus a drain pan.

Installation

• CSF does not publish a downloadable installation PDF for this auxiliary radiator. Printed installation instructions are packed in the box.
• Installation is a direct swap onto the factory mounting points using the OEM quick-connect lines; no cutting or drilling is required for the intended applications.
• Some F3X/F2X cars that did not leave the factory equipped with BMW part 17118625447 may require minor trimming of the air duct to clear the larger core — check clearance before final assembly.
• Bleed the cooling system completely after refilling before the car is driven.
