CSF Twin Charge-Air-Cooler Set – BMW M5 (F90) / M8 (F91/F92/F93)

OVERVIEW

CSF's twin charge-air-cooler set was the industry's first cast-end-tank high-performance charge cooler set for the BMW F90 M5 and F9x M8. Each cooler uses a custom CSF liquid-to-air intercooler core developed through CFD analysis and testing, with roughly double the core volume of the factory unit.

The one-piece seamless air inlet end tanks have the charge pipes integrated into them, and the air outlet end tanks carry built-in E85 and methanol injection ports. CSF 3D-scanned the car and used rapid prototyping to guarantee the set drops straight in with OEM-style quick-connect water fittings and sensor ports, no modifications required. The result is a significant drop in intake air temperatures and roughly 0.30 seconds off a 60–130 mph run.
