Dinan Anti-Roll Bar Set – BMW 2 / 3 / 4-Series

OVERVIEW

Almost every modern street car leaves the factory with anti-roll bars, but they are tuned soft for maximum comfort. An anti-roll bar does exactly what its name says by reducing body roll in all situations, and every Dinan bar is built and tuned specifically for the BMW chassis it fits. Reducing body roll keeps the car more level than stock while still allowing just enough roll to improve mechanical grip, which gives the driver a far more planted and confident feel in every corner.

The front bar is a 28 mm lightweight tubular adjustable unit, adjustable from 45% to 97% stiffer than the stock bar depending on application. Against the 22.2 mm stock bar on the M235i and M240i it runs 45% to 76% stiffer; against the 24.2 mm stock bar on the 328i and 330i with M Sport it runs 50% to 81% stiffer; against the 21.2 mm stock bar on the 335i, 340i, 435i and 440i it runs 63% to 97% stiffer; and against the 22.2 mm bar on those same models with M Sport it runs 54% to 87% stiffer.

The rear bar is a 19 mm lightweight tubular adjustable unit, adjustable from 84% to 474% stiffer than the stock bar depending on application. Against the 15 mm stock bar on the M235i and M240i it runs 84% to 130% stiffer; against the 12 mm stock bar on the 335i, 340i, 435i and 440i it runs 359% to 474% stiffer; and against the 13 mm bar on the 328i, 330i, 335i, 340i, 435i and 440i with M Sport it runs 243% to 329% stiffer. Both bars are three-hole designs that mount in three different positions using the stock BMW end links.

Notes

• Dinan's installation instructions state the front 28 mm bar is not applicable to any xDrive vehicle; the rear 19 mm bar does cover xDrive applications. Confirm fitment with Speed Logic before ordering.
