OVERVIEW
Dinan's carbon fiber turbo inlet pipe is a direct OEM replacement for the plastic factory inlet on G-chassis B58 cars, eliminating the factory sound resonator and opening up the path into the turbo for a measurable volume and diameter increase over stock.
Construction is carbon fiber with CNC-machined fittings for a direct bolt-in fit. Dinan measures a 14% increase in overall volume over the OEM inlet, with an internal diameter averaging 7.7% larger throughout.

Additional Parts Required
- Dinan B58 "G" Chassis Turbo Inlet Fit Kit (D763-0101) — required on LCI X3 M40i / X4 M40i. Dinan states this turbo inlet will not mate to the Dinan or factory intake system on those chassis without the fit kit.
- No fit kit is required on the other listed chassis (M240i, M340i, M440i, Z4 M40i, GR Supra) — it is a direct OEM replacement on those cars.
Installation
Notes
- On LCI X3 M40i / X4 M40i, this part requires the separate Dinan Turbo Inlet Fit Kit (D763-0101) to mate correctly — see Additional Parts Required above.
- M340i and M440i are listed with both drivetrains: BMW launched both RWD and xDrive versions of the M340i together for MY2020, and the M440i coupe/Gran Coupe/convertible had both variants within the MY2021 lineup (xDrive at launch, RWD added shortly after) — Dinan's own part page doesn't distinguish drivetrain and this part is a direct OEM-replacement inlet, not drivetrain-specific hardware.
- M240i (G42) is split into two rows because BMW launched it xDrive-only for MY2022, with the RWD variant introduced for MY2023 — confirmed via BMW USA press coverage (autoevolution, BMWblog). The row previously read a blanket "2020+", which predates the G42's actual 2022 launch; corrected here.
- This part number was split out from a multi-SKU draft listing that bundled it with the G8x S58 intake and the X3 M/X4 M and X3/X4 M40i intakes as additional variants; those part numbers have their own individual Speed Logic listings, so this SKU has been given its own listing to match.
