OVERVIEW

Dinan's high-performance heat exchanger is a direct-fit replacement for the factory charge-air heat exchanger on F-chassis B48/B58 cars, built with a thicker bar-and-plate core and more surface area to pull more heat out of the charge air under sustained load.

This F-chassis unit (D780-0002) uses a 48mm core versus the OEM 27mm core, 78% more heat transfer surface area, and has recorded up to 15°F lower intake air temperatures than stock, with unique L-shaped end tanks added for extra thermal mass.
