Eventuri Black Carbon Intake – BMW M2 Competition (F87)

OVERVIEW

The F87 M2 Competition intake system is designed to let the turbos work more efficiently. Replacing the stock airbox with Eventuri's patented Venturi filter housings and smoothly curved carbon tubes makes the airflow to the turbos more laminar, so they spool with less drag.

Because the M2 Competition has no air openings behind the grilles, Eventuri added sealed carbon ducts to keep intake temperatures as low as possible. The combination of Venturi housings, organically shaped tubes and sealed ducts produces an optimized intake that sets a benchmark for the platform.

• Dyno-verified gain of 12–20 hp and 12–16 lb-ft, as published by Eventuri
• 2 x patented Venturi-profile carbon fiber filter housings
• 100% prepreg carbon fiber construction throughout — housings, tubes and ducts
• Gloss black carbon finish
• 2 x bespoke High Flow Generation 2 dry filters, reverse mounted so the filter does not dictate airflow shape
• Retains both factory MAF sensors — each carbon tube has an integrated MAF sensor mount
• Sealed carbon fiber intake ducts to keep intake air temperatures down in the absence of factory grille openings
