Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System V2 – BMW M2 / M3 / M4 (G8x)

OVERVIEW

Eventuri's revised V2 G8X intake is designed for fitment alongside the CSL strut brace. Intensive R&D went into a system that not only improves on the stock M2 / M3 / M4 intake but is future proofed for high powered builds well in excess of 1000 hp. It is a complete redesign from the airboxes to the turbo inlets, aimed at reducing pressure loss while increasing flow rate and keeping inlet temperatures low.

Eventuri maximized the available space to fit two custom made filters with 40% more filtration area than stock, used inside their patented Venturi housings to funnel air smoothly to the turbo inlets. The inlets themselves are up to 160% larger in cross sectional area than stock and use an advanced dimpled inner surface to reduce frictional losses between the flow and the wall boundary. By allowing a cushion of air at the wall surface, air moves through the inlets at higher flow rates with reduced pressure loss, letting the turbos draw air with less resistance, reducing wastegate duty cycle and raising overall performance.

Every component is fabricated from 100% pre-preg carbon fiber with no fiberglass, which allows a smooth internal surface and keeps airflow moving cleanly through the system.

Additional Parts Required

• None. Eventuri specifies no additional hardware for this part — the turbo inlets are included in the kit.

Installation

• Eventuri has not published a downloadable installation guide for the V2 G8X system. Contact Speed Logic for the current fitting instructions supplied with the kit.
