OVERVIEW
H&R Race Springs are the most aggressive lowering spring H&R builds for the E90/E92 3-Series. They drop the car further than H&R Sport Springs and carry a firmer spring rate, lowering the centre of gravity and reducing body roll for a hard-edged street stance with sharper chassis balance.
Like every H&R spring, the Race set is cold-wound from 54SiCr6 spring steel and shot-peened, a process H&R states increases spring life by more than 200%. The springs will not settle or sag, and each one is 100% tested before it leaves H&R's ISO 9001-certified production facility in Germany.
Because of the aggressive rate and ride-height drop, H&R specifies that Race Springs be matched with high-quality sport-tuned shock absorbers. They are not intended to run on worn or standard comfort dampers.
