Injector Dynamics Upgraded Fuel Injectors (ID1050x / ID1300x / ID1750x / ID2600x)

OVERVIEW

Injector Dynamics X-Series injectors are built-to-spec motorsport injectors produced through Injector Dynamics' partnership with Bosch Motorsport - not modified production components - and are optimized around the operating parameters that matter to a motorsport tuner. The ID1050x is the evolution of the original ID1000 and the most recent addition to the X-Series, developed using the lessons learned building the ID1300x and ID1700x. On the BMW applications listed below these injectors are not drop-in replacements for the factory direct-injection injectors; they are supplemental port injection (PI) injectors, fitted with a port injection rail or intake manifold kit to add the fueling the factory DI system cannot supply on its own.

• All part numbers listed are the 34mm-length body with a 14mm upper and 14mm lower O-ring, no adapter top
• For supplemental port injection (PI) use only on the BMW applications listed - will NOT work as a drop-in replacement for factory OEM BMW direct injectors
• Quantity required: 6 injectors per inline-six engine (S58, B58, S55, N54, N55); 4 injectors per inline-four engine (B46/B48, N20)
• Supported by all major tuning suites for port injection: MHD Flasher (incl. MHD+ CustomROM), bootmod3 (incl. CustomROM), EcuTek (incl. RaceROM CustomROM) and MG Flasher (incl. Custom Code)
• Requires a port injection controller to drive the supplemental injectors

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• A port injection rail or port-injection intake manifold kit - these injectors mount in a PI kit, not in the factory direct-injection ports.
• A port injection controller to drive the supplemental injectors. Speed Logic recommends the Motiv Reflex+ as the best PI controller available; contact us for current availability.
• A tune that supports port injection. MHD Super License for your engine: S58, B58, S55, N54, N55 F-Series, N55 E-Series.
• bootmod3 tune for your engine: S58, B58, S55, N55, B46/B48, N20/N26.
• Consult your tuner before ordering so the software matches the hardware you are fitting.

Installation

• No installation document is published for these injectors on their own - they are installed as part of the port injection kit you are fitting, so follow that kit's instructions. Our team is available to help you specify the right combination.

Notes

• The ID1750-XDS is the successor to the ID1700x, with a higher dynamic flow rate at no increase in minimum fuel mass, better cylinder-to-cylinder balance at low pulsewidths and improved pressure sensitivity.
• Fitment here is by engine rather than by model because these are supplemental port injection injectors - confirm the flow rate and quantity for your build with Speed Logic before ordering.
