KW Coilover Kit Variant 4 (V4) 3-Way Adjustable – BMW X5 M (F95) / X6 M (F96)

OVERVIEW

The KW Variant 4 is KW's three-way adjustable coilover for fast road and track use. Low-speed compression, high-speed compression and rebound are set on separate adjusters, so body control over curbs and big compressions can be dialed in without also making the SUV harsh over small inputs. That separation is the whole point of a 3-way damper and it is what the Variant 3 cannot do.

The F95 X5 M and F96 X6 M come from the factory with rear air suspension rather than a conventional coil-and-damper setup. The V4 kit replaces that system outright with an adjustable-height, adjustable-damping strut assembly front and rear.

This listing covers the F95 X5 M and F96 X6 M. 3A7200CR is KW's single Bundle part number for both, and includes the ESC/EDC cancellation module for the factory adaptive dampers.

Additional Parts Required

• 3A7200CR is a Bundle kit and already includes the ESC/EDC cancellation module; no separate module purchase is needed. Because this kit replaces the factory rear air suspension, contact us before ordering if you need help sourcing anything for the air compressor or self-leveling components.
• A corner-balance and a full four-wheel alignment are required after installation, and matter even more on an AWD SUV. Budget for both before the vehicle is driven.
