KW DDC ECU Coilovers – BMW 335i / 340i / 435i / 440i (F30/F32)

OVERVIEW

The KW DDC (Dynamic Damping Control) ECU coilover kit brings electronically adjustable dampers to rear-wheel-drive F30 3 Series and F32 4 Series models that did not leave the factory with Electronic Damper Control. Three damping presets let you change the character of the car on the fly: Comfort, Sport for spirited driving, and Sport+ for a very sporty, performance-oriented setup.

Alongside the electronic damping, the DDC ECU kit is fully height adjustable, so ride height and damper tuning can be dialled in independently. KW builds the struts with its "inox-line" stainless steel construction for long-term durability.

Additional Parts Required

• None. KW specifies no additional hardware for this kit — it is built for vehicles that do not have factory Electronic Damper Control.
• A four-wheel alignment is mandatory after installation and after any ride-height change.
• Professional installation is strongly recommended; spring compressors and BMW-specific strut tooling are required.
• Check tire-to-strut and tire-to-fender clearance before driving, particularly with non-OEM wheel and tire sizes.
• Vehicles fitted with ride-height sensors (adaptive headlights, driver-assistance cameras) must have those systems recalibrated after lowering.
