OVERVIEW
KW Variant 2 is the sporty, personalised step up from V1, adding adjustable rebound damping to KW's height-adjustable coilover platform. It suits the driver who wants to choose both the ride height and the damper character rather than accept a single factory tune.
Adjusting rebound damping changes how the car controls pitch under braking and acceleration and how quickly it takes a set in roll, so the chassis can be adapted to your own driving preferences. This is the version for rear-wheel-drive F2x/F3x models that are fitted with factory Electronic Damping Control; the adaptive dampers are replaced by the KW coilovers.

TECH RESOURCES
Additional Parts Required
- EDC cancellation. This kit replaces the factory adaptive dampers, so the EDC circuit must be dealt with to avoid a suspension fault message. Confirm with Speed Logic whether an EDC cancellation kit ships with your order before installing.
- Four-wheel alignment. A full alignment is mandatory after installation and after any subsequent ride-height change.
- Professional installation. Fitment should be carried out by a qualified suspension shop; the kit changes suspension geometry and load paths.
- Driver-assistance recalibration. Cars with camera- or radar-based driver assistance (lane departure, active cruise, collision warning) require the systems to be recalibrated after a ride-height change.
- Tire-to-strut and fender clearance check. Verify clearance through full steering lock and suspension travel before driving, especially with aftermarket wheels, tires or spacers.
- Headlight levelling / ride-height sensor. Cars fitted with self-levelling headlights carry a ride-height sensor link on the axle; it must be checked and re-indexed after lowering.
- Spring compressor, KW rebound adjuster and standard suspension service tools are supplied by the installer.

Notes
- Rear-wheel drive only, and only for cars with factory Electronic Damping Control — xDrive and non-EDC cars take a different KW order number. Confirm your exact model, year and damper equipment with Speed Logic before ordering.
