KW V3 Coilover Kit with Electronic Dampers – Toyota GR Supra (A90)

OVERVIEW

This is KW's Variant 3 "inox-line" coilover kit for the A90 GR Supra built with factory electronic dampers. Damping is adjusted separately in rebound and compression, and KW develops the base setup on its 7-post rig and in road testing that includes the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The V3 is used by sports car drivers, tuners and manufacturers such as Alpina, MTM, Manthey and Oettinger.

The patented KW valve technology puts the compression adjuster at the lower end of the stainless steel housing, where twelve defined clicks let you influence body roll without changing the spring rate. Rebound is adjusted at the top of the piston rod in sixteen clicks, either through an integrated wheel or the supplied adjuster, so stability in fast corners and ride comfort can be balanced to the car and to the wheel and tire package.

KW's coilover struts are made from stainless steel and are subjected to extensive quality testing during production; the dirt-resistant trapezoid thread and composite collar keep the continuous height adjustment working over the long term.

Additional Parts Required

• A four-wheel alignment after installation is mandatory — camber, caster and toe all change with ride height.
• Professional installation is strongly recommended; a lift and spring compressors are required.
• This kit replaces the factory electronic dampers, so the electronic damper control system must be deactivated with the cancellation hardware KW specifies for this order number — confirm what is included before installing.
• Driver assistance systems that reference ride height (headlight leveling, camera and radar aiming) should be checked and recalibrated after lowering.
• Tire-to-strut and fender clearance must be checked at the chosen ride height before the car is driven.

Notes

• This kit is for GR Supra models with factory electronic dampers. Cars without electronic dampers use the standard KW V3 kit. Confirm your car's damper equipment and exact fitment with Speed Logic before ordering.
