Mishimoto Oil Cooler MMOC-F80-15 – BMW M3 / M4 / X3M / X4M (F80 / F82 / F98)

OVERVIEW

The Mishimoto Performance Oil Cooler is a direct replacement for the factory oil cooler on the 2015–2020 BMW F8X M3 and M4. BMW mounted the stock cooler perpendicular to the rest of the cooling stack to exploit the car's aerodynamics, but that position leaves a lightweight tube-and-fin core exposed to road debris.

Mishimoto's replacement is a full aluminum, TIG-welded bar-and-plate unit. Bar-and-plate cores move heat more effectively than tube-and-fin and are strong enough to shrug off stone strikes. Ten millimeters of additional core thickness raise core volume by 46% and system oil capacity by 0.44 quarts, so oil temperatures stay where they should be under sustained load.

The cooler fits directly in place of the stock unit with no cutting or modification and carries the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
