Mishimoto Performance Intake MMAI-F30-12 – BMW 328i (F30, N20)

OVERVIEW

Mishimoto developed this Performance Air Intake specifically for the 2012+ BMW F30 with the N20 and N26 engines. It is safe to run on the stock tune and will not upset air/fuel ratios under load, while the free-flowing design gives the car an aggressive induction note under acceleration and amplifies turbocharger spool and blow-off valve sounds.

The factory intake duct is retained to feed cool outside air to the Mishimoto High-Flow Oiled Air Filter, which offers more filtration surface area than the stock paper element and can be cleaned and reused for the life of the car. An enclosed airbox collects that cold air from the front of the engine bay and shields the filter from heat soak. The airbox is formed from 5052 aluminum with a black powder-coated finish, saving weight over a steel box and resisting corrosion in harsh climates. The intake pipe is aluminum with a CNC-machined MAF housing.

The intake is a complete bolt-on, is offered in polished or wrinkle black, is CARB compliant under EO number D-759-1, and carries the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

• Fitment follows Mishimoto's current application data for the N20 / N26 engine. This intake is not an application for the N52-engined E9X 328i; confirm fitment with Speed Logic if you are unsure of your engine code.
