Burger Motorsports JB4 Tuner – BMW 135i / 335i / 535i / 1M / Z4 (N54)

OVERVIEW

The tune that built Burger Motorsports' reputation, and still the most proven way to make an N54 fast. The JB4 piggybacks the factory sensor network rather than flashing the DME, so the ECU stays stock, the install takes about 20 minutes, and the whole thing comes back off if you sell the car. It is not VIN-locked, so it moves to the next one.

Three ways to run it: the tuner on its own with onboard map switching, the tuner plus the JB4 Bluetooth Wireless Phone/Tablet Connect Kit (Rev 3.7) for wireless app control, gauges and logging, or the tuner plus the BMS Data Cable for a wired laptop connection used for logging and firmware updates.

• 91 octane or higher pump fuel — required for the advertised gains. Race gas or an E85 blend is required for the higher maps.
