Precision Raceworks F-Series N20 / N26 / N55 High Performance Fuel Pump

OVERVIEW

The factory in-tank low pressure pump on N20, N26 and N55 F-Series cars is sized for stock power. Add a bigger turbo, an upgraded tune or E85 and the low pressure side runs out of supply first, rail pressure sags at the top of the gear and the DME pulls timing to protect the engine.

The Precision Raceworks F-Series N20 / N26 / N55 High Performance Fuel Pump replaces the factory pump with a complete OEM-style bucket assembly built around Walbro pumps. Stage 2 and 2.5v2 are single-pump drop-in units; Stage 3, 3.5 and 3.75 add a second, boost-activated pump mounted to the side of the bucket for builds heading to 850–1000+ whp. Every stage ships fully assembled with a new sending unit and filters, and none needs an aftermarket EKP.

• Stage 2: 2.2 LPM, one Walbro 450 (F90000274) in the bucket; rated 575 whp on pump gas / 500 whp on 100% E85
• Stage 2.5v2: 3.5 LPM, one Walbro 535 (F90000295) in the bucket; rated 675 whp / 600 whp E85
• Stage 3: 5 LPM, two Walbro 450 (one in the bucket, one bucketless outside it); rated 850 whp / 800 whp E85
• Stage 3.5: 6 LPM, Walbro 450 in the bucket + Walbro 525 (F90000285) outside; rated 950 whp / 875 whp E85
• Stage 3.75: 6.5 LPM, Walbro 535 in the bucket + Walbro 525 outside; rated 1000+ whp / 950 whp E85
• Compatible with any blend of E85 (the factory BMW pump is not rated for 100% E85)
• No aftermarket EKP required on any stage

• Stage 3: OEM-style bucket assembly with two pre-installed Walbro 450 pumps, new fuel sending unit, new primary and secondary fuel filters, plug-and-play boost reference harness
• Stage 3.5 and 3.75: OEM-style bucket assembly with the primary and secondary pumps pre-installed, new fuel sending unit, new primary and secondary fuel filters, plug-and-play boost reference harness and 13 psi boost reference (Hobbs) switch

Required Extras

• No additional parts are required; the kit is complete as supplied (no aftermarket EKP controller needed).
• Optional upgraded feed line: Precision Raceworks F-Series F3X / F2X -6AN Fuel Line (201-0245), sold separately (not stocked by Speed Logic).
• Optional replacement secondary pump activation harness: Precision Raceworks 201-0049, sold separately (not stocked by Speed Logic).

Installation

• Installation instructions are supplied with the kit; Precision Raceworks does not publish a public install guide for this part. The pump is a drop-in bucket assembly with no wires to cut or splice.
• Stage 3 and up: the bucketless secondary pump slides onto the side of the bucket, then the assembly installs in the tank in place of the factory pump.
