Precision Raceworks G8X S58 Upgraded Hybrid Primary Fuel Pump

OVERVIEW

The S58 in the G8X M2, M3 and M4 and the F97 / F98 X3 M and X4 M makes big power on a tune alone, and E85 or upgraded turbos quickly use up the factory low pressure pump. When it runs short, rail pressure falls under load and the DME pulls timing.

The Precision Raceworks G8X S58 Upgraded Hybrid Primary Fuel Pump keeps the OEM brushless pump in the bucket and adds a Walbro pump outside it on a billet bracket. Stage 2 adds a Walbro 450 for about 450 LPH. Stage 2.5 adds a Walbro 525 for about 486 LPH, plus a pre-made plug-and-play tank-to-engine line for G8X cars, high-flow quick connects and an inline filter. No aftermarket EKP is needed.

The alternative to a hybrid pump is the Precision Raceworks Stand-Alone AFS: M3 / M4 (G80 / G82 / G83), M2 (G87) or X3 M / X4 M (F97 / F98).

The stocked Stage 2.5 line is pre-made for G8X cars; X3 M / X4 M owners should contact us to confirm the right line kit before ordering Stage 2.5.
• Precision Raceworks warns that a fuel filter must sit after every electric pump; Stage 2.5 includes one, and Stage 2 builds should add one to protect the HPFP and injectors.
• B58 G-chassis cars and the GR Supra use the Precision Raceworks G-Series B58 hybrid pump.
