OVERVIEW

Crank hub failure is one of the most reported issues plaguing the S55 engine - when the hub slips or spins the engine skips timing, which can cause catastrophic engine and valvetrain damage. The Speed Logic 4-pin crank hub uses a keyed timing sprocket hub assembly together with a 4-pin oil pump sprocket that locks into the nose of the crankshaft, a significant upgrade over the stock design, which relies on friction alone to keep the engine in time.
