SPL Rear Toe Links – BMW M3 / M4 (F8x / G8x)

OVERVIEW

SPL Parts Rear Toe Arms (RTA) for the BMW F8X and G8X increase stability and response by eliminating bushing deflection, while providing a far wider range of rear toe adjustment than the factory arms. That range is necessary on lowered cars and for performance alignments, because even small changes to ride height and camber shift toe settings. The result is more grip on a track car and longer tire life on a street car.

The factory rear toe arms adjust with an eccentric bolt and washer, and lack the precision and range the SPL links offer. Black anodized, gun drilled 2024 aluminum main links combine with SPL's 360 degree Rotating Clamp design for quick, precise adjustment. The clamps are tightened with blue anodized titanium socket head cap screws, which keep adjustment easy to access and shave further unsprung weight without compromising strength.

FK spherical bearings and rod ends are manufactured in Connecticut and use a Teflon liner for quiet operation, low friction and smooth articulation with no bushing deflection under load. The liner is self-lubricating and self-cleaning, and the PTFE is chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race, giving a very high load carrying capacity and greatly improved dynamic wear characteristics.

TECH RESOURCES

Additional Parts Required

• Four-wheel alignment after installation — mandatory. Rear toe must be reset once the arms are fitted.
• Professional installation is recommended; the arms replace a safety-critical suspension link.
• Corner weighting is recommended for track use.
• Optional SPL eccentric lockout washers can be run alongside these arms to lock the factory eccentric in place. Speed Logic does not currently stock the F8X lockout kit as a separate listing — contact us if you need one.
